DUTIES
- Analyze blueprints, survey reports, maps, and other data related to project design.
- Evaluate regulations, site conditions, and other factors relevant to construction projects.
- Analyze the results of soil tests and building materials to determine the strength and stability of foundations and support structures.
- Prepare cost estimates for equipment, materials, and labor to assess a project’s economic feasibility.
- Utilize design software to plan transportation systems, hydraulic systems, and structural components.
- Submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring projects comply with relevant regulations.
- Perform or supervise surveying to establish building locations, site layouts, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring that projects are executed according to plans, specifications, and safety standards. This includes managing the construction, repair, maintenance, and replacement of buildings and infrastructure.
- Oversee construction projects, ensuring they adhere to timelines and budgets, and oversee the design and safety of temporary structures used during construction. This role may also involve overseeing project communications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (may be foreign equivalent)
- 60 months of experience as a Civil Engineer
RATE PAY: $85,883.00 / Year
